Compliance & Approvals

At U.S. Chemical Storage we strive to give you the best solution for your operations. This building and its accompanying accessories can be engineered to meet the following approvals and certifications based upon your unique set of needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Chemical storage buildings manufactured by U.S. Chemical Storage are designed to get your operation compliant. You should work with your local “Authority Having Jurisdiction” (AHJ) who could be a local fire marshal, a municipal code official, or a city environmental department.

These buildings are the same high-quality as our custom and pre-fab chemical storage buildings, built with the flexibility and terms you need at the right moment you need them.

Our buildings are fully NFPA 30 compliant, and utilized all over the U.S. and the world.

Customers often find themselves with tight deadlines with suspension or fines looming. Perhaps an insurance underwriter is unable to provide coverage or a fire marshal is unable to approve the current situation at your facility. You need something quickly to provide immediate code compliance.

Or, you may have us building a custom building for your exact needs, but in the meantime you can rent one of these as a temporary solution.

Not all companies can manage a CapEx project at various points of their fiscal year. Getting internal approvals can be difficult. But with a rental, you can pay month-to-month with only a 6-month minimum agreement. This allows flexibility for you and your finance team.

Sometimes. We build based on demand, so often we have first-quality new construction on our lot. However, we also refurbish buildings when rental contracts are up. That means full cleaning, repairs, repainting, and detailed inspections. We replace key components to keep them fully in compliance.

If this is an important issue to you for insurance or other requirements, be sure to mention that during the quoting process. We may have other solutions that can work for you.

Absolutely! We work with each and every customer to make sure they have a building that can serve their needs and – most importantly – keep them safe and in code compliance. Your SDS for your specific chemical will be the first step in understanding if the features of these buildings will work for you, but our knowledgeable sales engineers are here to help you every step of the way.

These buildings are designed to fit within DOT requirements for shipping on flat bed or drop-bed trailers. Our shipping coordinator can help arrange shipping utilizing shippers that are experienced in shipping our buildings and other large equipment. Off-loading and placement is usually not a part of our services, but can be arranged if necessary. Just ask about it during the quoting process.
