In 2002, US Chemical Storage became aware of a real storage need for a building or locker that could safely store flammables (or non flammables) if the distance from an occupied building or lot line was enough to meet NFPA 30 Code as well as local building codes. We immediately put our engineering department on the issue and what we developed was the DRUMloc™ Outdoor Storage Locker. It is not as heavy duty as out other standard models, thus being more economical to the customer with a limited budget

The product we designed exclusively through US Chemical Storage® is called the DRUMloc™ Model Outdoor Chemical Storage Locker. This model does not utilize the tubular steel construction as the our other trademarked haz-mat storage models and is therefore, less expensive, cheaper to ship and lighter weight. However, that being said, it 100% meets state, federal and local codes, OSHA and EPA Standards and NFPA 30 for storage of hazardous materials. All DRUMloc™ Model Outdoor Chemical Storage Lockers are Factory Mutual FM Approved.

The Construction of our DRUMloc™ Model Outdoor Chemical Storage Locker consists if of "molded and engineered steel stud walls" in a panelized form that is leak proof and chemical resistant and is covered with the same chemical resistant coatings as our standard models. Available in all five color choices at no extra charge.

There are also cost saving items like the 54" Door as opposed to the key lockable double door system, as well as lower height adjustments that may make permitting easier due to the fact that you can classify the structure as "unoccupied" as opposed to an H2 Occupancy "Hazardous Material Storage Building". Roll Up doors and all types of customization available. All DRUMloc™ Model Outdoor Chemical Storage Lockers are built to order in our Factory in North Carolina and carry the same 12 year structural warranty as all of our other trademarked chemical storage buildings.
